Introduction
An automatic density meter is an instrument used to measure the density of liquids automatically, with high accuracy, and it is used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, petroleum, and many other industries for quality control and analysis. The automatic density meter measures the density of the sample by the oscillating U-tube method, in which the sample is introduced into a U-shaped tube that is caused to oscillate, and the frequency of the oscillation depends on the mass, and therefore the density, of the sample, and the instrument measures the oscillation frequency and calculates the density; the automatic density meter performs the measurement automatically, with the sample introduced by a pump or an autosampler, and it provides the results on a display, with features such as automatic temperature control, since the density depends on the temperature, automatic calibration, a built-in conversion table for related parameters, such as the specific gravity, the concentration, and the alcohol content, and data management; the automatic density meter provides a rapid and accurate measurement, with a high throughput, and it is suitable for routine quality control and for the analysis of many samples, and it is available as benchtop instruments with various configurations. Automatic density meters are used in the food and beverage industry for the analysis of beverages, such as the alcohol content of beer and wine, for the measurement of the concentration of solutions, in the pharmaceutical industry, in the chemical industry, in the petroleum industry, and for many other applications. With their automated and accurate measurement, automatic density meters are essential for density analysis.

FAQ
Q1: What scenarios is this meter used for?
A: It measures liquid density and concentration using an oscillating U-tube cell with automatic sampling, supporting petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical and beverage QC.
Q2: What standards does it comply with?
A: It follows ASTM D4052 and D5002, ISO 12185 and related GB/T standards, with temperature and cell calibration traceable.
Q3: What is the warranty?
A: The meter carries a 12 to 24 month warranty covering the instrument. Cells require careful cleaning. Damage from misuse or incompatible samples is excluded.
Q4: Is it hard to operate?
A: Routine measurement is simple after setup, but method and concentration tables require trained staff. We provide a manual, installation and training.
Q5: What is the lead time?
A: Standard models require 7-30 working days. In-stock units can ship within 3-7 working days. Custom configurations or large built-to-order systems may require additional time, and we confirm the exact schedule before order confirmation.
Q6: Is calibration required?
A: We recommend verification against traceable standards at regular intervals, typically every 6 to 12 months, and keeping calibration records for audit purposes. The manual describes the procedure, and reference standards are available from us. Accredited third-party calibration can also be arranged on request.
Q7: Are consumables universal?
A: Cleaning solvents and standards are standard or certified, while cells are model-specific. Ongoing cost includes solvents.
Q8: Can it be customized?
A: Yes, several configurations are available. Options include autosamplers, concentration tables, data systems and multiple units. We can discuss further custom requirements, confirm feasibility and advise any effect on the schedule before the order is confirmed.
Q9: Is installation included?
A: No installation is required for this unit. It is ready to run after a simple power connection and the leveling steps shown in the manual. We supply a detailed operation guide and online setup videos, and on-site commissioning can be arranged separately if your facility requires it.
Q10: What samples are compatible?
A: It handles homogeneous liquids within viscosity and range limits. It is not for solids, gases, highly viscous or particle-laden samples that block the cell, or incompatible chemicals.
